Vocation

Are you looking to deepen the experience of God in your life?

What can a small group of women, widely differing in age, outlook and experience, achieve by committing themselves to one another and to God for the rest of their lives?

At All Saints we believe God has called us as individuals and as a community. We live in the conviction there is purpose in our lives – God’s purpose. We believe that the charism of our foundress is as relevant now as it was back in 1851.

As All Saints Sisters of the Poor, we believe that we are called to be alongside the homeless and unemployed, the sick, the dying and the bereaved, the lonely, those in prison – any who welcome the friendship we offer as companions journeying together.

We welcome women who feel called to explore vocation in general and discern to what future God is calling them.

If you come, your stay with us may be brief or it may be for the rest of your life. Together we will try to discern God’s will.

We look forward to hearing from you and sharing our delights in this life.

Contact us at leaderassp@socallss.co.uk to find out how you can come to visit, and discover for yourself whether this is what God wants you to be.

Hearing God’s call, we witness to the Kingdom of God by living a disciplined life in mutual love, under the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.

This way of life encourages our growth in the love of God and frees us to serve the cause of the Gospel through our worship and work. So we are enabled to be channels of God’s love to the poor in whatever ways we believe the Holy Spirit is leading us.
